Five holiday apartments,
continuously modernised since 2002
The house was built between 1975 and 1980 and gutted and rebuilt completely in 2002. Since then it has never really stopped: every year one apartment is up next — new beds, new kitchen, new bathroom. What you see here is therefore rarely more than a few years old.
Five apartments between 45 and 85 m², designed for three to six people. Each has its own fitted kitchen with hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher, plus kettle, toaster, egg boiler and proper cookware — you need to bring nothing but groceries. Satellite TV and WiFi are free, air conditioning is available in summer for a surcharge, and out of season there is heating throughout.
Every apartment has a balcony with table and chairs, four of the five with a sea view. In front of the house a parking space is reserved for each apartment, suitable for small boat trailers too; electric cars charge at an 11 kW CEE socket. And the garden belongs to everyone: barbecue, beer tap, and a large olive tree that gives shade even at midday.
Our location
It is a five-minute walk to the water — not to a viewpoint, but to the place where you actually get in. Padova 1 sandy beach is 300 metres away and shelves gently: there is a bar, sunloungers and shade, and the walk is easy even with small children.
The old town of Rab is around twenty minutes on foot along the marina — in the evening the finest walk of the day. If you would rather not walk, a water taxi costs a few euros and still runs late. Waiting there are restaurants, bars and a few clubs for the small hours; things are quieter at the Rab Music Evenings in the cathedral.
By day those same water taxis take you to bays you cannot reach by land: pale shingle, clear water, often hardly anyone else. To us, the best half day you can spend on Rab.

Bringing your own boat?
If you arrive with your own boat, we can offer you a mooring by arrangement and for a small surcharge — right on our property, so no driving to some other marina. The trailer meanwhile has its place in the car park in front of the house.
Because there are only a few spaces, it is best to ask early. Then we will keep the right one free for you and you need not worry about anything else.
